Diamondback Seat??

I recently purchased a 64 E-Bike from Beachman. I had been pondering it for some time along with other options from the myriad of vendors and varieties, from pedal assist to full throttle etc. I do plan on doing a full review, with photographs, of the bike itself at some point after I've had more time in the saddle. For now, I'll just stick to verbally reviewing the "Diamondback Seat" upgrade.

It's a $400 CAN option, so not for everyone, and certainly not necessary. I just like the custom look. If you're a purist, it does contradict the cafe racer clip-on bars with some tracker styling if that matters to you. In my mind and in my opinion... it just suits the 60/70ies style Honda CB125 platform on which the 64 is built. It also keeps the bike cable of being riden 2 up. I got the brown seat to compliment the "Bahama Blue" tank. I would describe "my" seat as sandy brown, not light brown. I wouldn't call it a classic Honda colour combo, but it does suit the Beachman tank badge very well. Blue sky/water and sandy beach.

So far my longest ride has been approximately 30 minutes. The seat is very comfortable for that amount of time, and it gets a lot of admiring looks, mostly from ole guys like me who are pushing 60 and rode Honda CBs of all sizes back in the day. If you like to personalize your rides and make them a bit special to you, then "I" highly recommend this option.

Cheers,
80WC
