Letter From The Founder No. 24

The Aviator Is Coming To Kickstarter

Hey folks,

This letter is coming to you about 2 weeks late, a great indicator of just how busy June becomes for us over here as peak motorcycle season takes over.

For those who follow our social media, the cat is out of the bag, and our new model the Aviator is finally announced and soon coming to Kickstarter for crowdfunding, much the same way we kicked off the '64.

The Aviator is an all-new model of both e-bike and LM (Light Motorcycle) that will be launching summer of 2025. Steve designed it from the ground up, a luxury we didn't have when we based the '64 on its classic Honda frame. Designing our own frame, electronics, and everything else was a dream come true, and the result of the support of our community and our investors.

The plan is for the aviator to eventually replace the '64 as our single offering, but there will likely be some overlap next year as we transition.

They're both fantastic bikes, and they run on the same powertrain so the parts will be mostly backward compatible, but finally it's our own vision in its fullness.

As always I will highlight all the important bits like this for those who only have time to scan the email.

Meet The Aviator

Since we started the company, our dream was simple. Design an electric motorcycle that carried all the beauty of the 1960's. With the '64 we achieved that, but there have always been limitations in using an old 1970's gas bike as the underlying frame and stance.

Starting last year, Steve and our 3D Designer Oleg began working on a new design, one where we were in control of the whole bike from the ground up. This is the Aviator. Our own creation. We are so, so proud to present it to you and we think it's our most beautiful design yet, both in aesthetics and in the way it rides.

The Aviator is based on the '64 powertrain but with a host of upgrades, including the long-awaited speed and power gauges replacing the LED screen of the '64.

The bike will launch as an LM and E-Bike, legal in BC and abroad. All the work on the '64 has culminated in this new design.

The battery in this bike will be held inside the frame itself and will insert through a trap door in the top of the gas tank itself. That part of the bike hasn't been finished yet outside of the 3D models, but it will be elegant, simple, and much more secure against battery theft than anything on the e-bike market today.

It will also launch with a new safety feature on the battery that nobody on earth has - not even Tesla. We will be announcing that at a later date, in partnership with a multi-billion dollar materials research laboratory and manufacturer located here in Ontario who has chosen us as the company that will launch with this technology first, and we expect it to be international news.
